Events……
To help support the free programs and activities, Gilda’s
Club holds five major fundraising events each year. First is Gilda’s
Walk for Wellness, an indoor, non-competitive walk held in late winter. In
the spring, the Surviving in Style Fashion embraces the essence of living
well with cancer as survivors take to the runway. Also in the spring, Gilda's Gang gets in shape for a marathon run/walk in the fall. In the summer, the Jerry
Flynn Children’s Classic Golf Tournament provides an opportunity for
the many golfing enthusiasts in the Rochester area to remember this special
supporter of children while enjoying a fun day on the links. And finally,
Gilda’s Gala, the largest fundraising event of the year, takes place
in the fall and always promises a good time to all attendees.
