Intro to Sewing & Quilting - Wednesday afternoons -Sewing & quilting classes for beginners or advanced students. Quilting experts Nancy Gay is available to show you the basics, advanced tips, and tricks for your sewing & quilting projects. We provide sewing machines & all the necessary materials.

Book Club - Monday, April 21st - This month’s selection is I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai.

Creative Writing for Kids, Wednesday - April 2nd, 9th and 16th - Join Maddy Russell having fun, being creative and expanding your writing skills.

ART CLASSES

Jewelry- Tuesday, April 1st OR April 29th- Beginners & seasoned beaders are welcome to create something with our lovely beads. Annette will teach basics & advanced techniques.

Knit & Crochet- Thursday, April 3rd and April 17th - Stitch, knit and chat as you work on that project that just never seems to get finished. Or we’ll teach you how to knit or crochet (we supply the materials). Light snack provided.

Open Art Room- Friday, April 4th OR Thursday April 17th or 24th - The art room is open and Annette will be available to help you work on anything the muse inspires.

Chainmail Earrings - Monday, April 7th or Tuesday, April 8th- Check out the sweet earrings made by chainmail. “Easy Peasy” and so classy looking!

Acrylic Painting- Monday, April 21st - Release your inner artist & have some fun painting on canvas. We provide all the materials.

EXERCISE CLASSES

Yoga - Monday afternoons- New Yoga Class!!- Certified Yoga instructor Julio Vazquez will be teaching.

Spinning with WNY Wellness- Monday Evenings- Join Western NY Wellness Group for an indoor bike ride every Monday Evening!

Gentle Exercise- Tuesdays - Maria Furstoss, certified personal trainer & fitness instructor is here with a gentle exercise program designed just for Gilda’s members.

Spinning with Maria - Thursdays - Maria Furstoss, CPT, is riding on our new exercise bikes, come join her!

“Chopping it Off”for Camp Open Arms! - Starring Jennifer Johnson “JJ”
Friday, May 2nd
“ The time has come to chop off my lovely locks! I have raised well over my original goal of $3,000, thanks to the support of so many generous people! I couldn’t be happier, so as promised I will be donating the majority of my hair and then shaving the rest in support of all our members at Gilda’s Club Rochester, NY that have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. Please join me for an evening to remember! Pizza will be served.”
Game Night - Friday, May 16th

Scrabble? Heads Up?Pictionary? Euchre & card games? We’ll take a vote to see who wants to play which game and then let the competitions begin!!! We’ll have pizza & snacks.

Intermediate Quilting - Thursday May 8th, 22nd, 29th - Quilting expert Linda Cirrincione will be teaching this class for those that have had sewing experience. All necessary materials (including sewing machines) provided.

Glass Painting - Monday, May 5th- Paint a plate, jar, or pair of wine glasses.

Art Day - Friday, May 9th - Spend the day doing arts & crafts, relaxing and being creative. We’ll have planned projects you can choose from. Lunch provided. RSVP!!!
