Lymphedema -Tuesday, November 4th - Theresa Hunter, PT from Freedom Therapy, Functional Rehabilitation Services will be here to speak on dealing with Lymphedema and answers your questions.

WORKSHOPS

Art for Stress Relief - Tuesdays, November 4th, 11th & 18th - Join Joyce Kliman, art therapy professor from Nazareth College for a relaxing evening using different art modalities for stress relief.

Intro to Sewing & Quilting - November 19th -Sewing & quilting classes for beginners or advanced students.  Quilting expert Nancy Gay is available to show you the basics, advanced tips, and tricks for your sewing & quilting projects.  We provide sewing machines & all the necessary materials.

Beginning Quilting & Sewing - Thursday, November 6th - Linda Cirrincione will be teaching this class for those that have little to no experience sewing or working on a machine.

Knit & Crochet -  Thursdays November 6th & 20th , - Stitch, knit and chat as you work on that project that just never seems to get finished, or we’ll teach you how to knit or crochet (we supply the materials). 

Intermediate Quilting - Thursday,  November 13th - Quilting expert Linda Cirrincione will teach those that have had sewing experience.  All necessary materials provided.

Day of Quilting - Saturday, November 8th - Spend  your Saturday sewing with Linda Cirrincione.

Book Club - Monday,  November 17th - This month’s selection is My Life in France by Julia Child.

Cooking with Sue Czap, RD, CSO sponsored by Pluta Foundation - Tuesday, November 18th
Cooking classes will be held monthly.  In each class, the group prepares several plant based recipes using seasonal foods. Topics of discussion vary and are chosen based on participants’ interest.

Annual Pie Baking Class - Thursday, November 20th  - Our 9th Annual Pie Baking extravaganza.  We’ll have all the fixings for making two homemade pies you can take home for your Thanksgiving celebration.

Gilda’s Diner - For Men Only - Saturday,  November 8th - Breakfast, Newspaper & Conversation.

 

ART CLASSES

Jewelry- Wednesday November 5th OR Monday, November 17th  - Beginners & seasoned beaders  are welcome to create something with all our lovely beads.  Annette will teach basics & advanced techniques.

Art Day - Friday, November 7th - Spend the day doing arts & crafts, relaxing and being creative.  we’ll have planned projects you can choose from.  Lunch provided.  RSVP!

Open Art Room- Thursday November 13th OR Friday, November 14th  - The art room is open and Annette will be available to help you work on anything the muse inspires

Acrylic Painting- Friday,  November 21st  -  Release your inner artist & have some fun painting on canvas. We provide all the materials

Fiber Necklace - Monday November 24th - Using decorative yarns craft these easy peasy necklaces. 
Lightweight to wear and looks like you spent the day creating...but you didn’t!

 

EXERCISE CLASSES

Spinning with WNY Wellness - Monday Evenings - Join Western NY Wellness Group for an indoor bike ride every Monday Evening!

Stretch & Tone- Tuesdays - Get yourself loosened up and toned with Maria.

Gentle Exercise with Maria - Thursdays - Maria Furstoss, certified personal trainer & fitness instructor is here with a gentle exercise program designed just for Gilda’s members.

Alex & Ani Type Bracelet - Monday, December 1st - We have our own version of the Alex & Ani bracelets.  Check out the sample at the clubhouse.
Holiday Cards-  Wednesday, December 3rd - Create Special holiday card to mail or to include with a gift.  We’ll have 2 designs for you to work with.
Wire Wrap Pendant Necklace- Monday, December 8th - Guest artist, Lynn Riley will be teaching this class, wrapping wire around a lovely lapis blue colored stone.
