Identity Theft - Friday, October 17th - Chad Merklin fromConsumer Credit Counseling will be here to give advice on protecting yourself from identity theft and what to do if it happens to you.
Dealing with Urinary Incontinence & other Prostate Issues - Tuesday, October 21st - Wendy Featherstone, PT will lecture after dinner about different ways to handle some side effects from prostate treatments.

WORKSHOPS

Intro to Sewing & Quilting - Wednesday afternoons -Sewing & quilting classes for beginners or advanced students. Quilting expert Nancy Gay is available to show you the basics, advanced tips, and tricks for your sewing & quilting projects. We provide sewing machines & all the necessary materials.

Beginning Quilting & Sewing - Thursday, October 2nd- Linda Cirrincione will be teaching this class for those that have little to no experience sewing or working on a machine.

Euchre - Monday, October 6th & 20th - Join in the fun, if you don’t know how to play we’ll teach you!

Knit & Crochet - Thursday, October 9 th &23rd- Stitch, knit and chat as you work on that project that just never seems to get finished, or we’ll teach you how to knit or crochet (we supply the materials).

Intermediate Quilting - Thursday, October 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th - Quilting expert Linda Cirrincione will teach those that have had sewing experience. All necessary materials provided.
Day of Quilting - Saturday, October 18th - Spend your Saturday, sewing with Linda Cirrincione. This is for intermediate level sewing.

Book Club - Monday, October 20th - Please call the clubhouse for this month’s selection.

Cooking with Sue Czap, RD, CSO sponsored by Pluta Foundation - Tuesday, October 21st Cooking classes will be held monthly. In each class, the group prepares several plant based recipes using seasonal foods. Topics of discussion vary and are chosen based on participants’ interest.

Halloween Fun for Adults - Friday, October 31st - join us for lunch and some spooky crafts and games!

ART CLASSES

Jewelry- Friday, October 3rd OR Tuesday, October 14th- Beginners & seasoned beaders are welcome to create something with all our lovely beads. Annette will teach basics & advanced techniques.
Chainmaille with Mary- Tuesday, October 7th or Friday, October 10th- Make a pretty chainmaille bracelet with Mary.
Acrylic Painting- Thursday, October 23rd - Release your inner artist & have some fun painting on canvas. We provide all the materials
Open Art Room- Tuesday October 28th OR Thursday, October 30th -The art room is open and Annette will be available to help you work on anything the muse inspires.

EXERCISE CLASSES

Spinning with WNY Wellness- Monday Evenings- Join Western NY Wellness Group for an indoor bike ride every Monday Evening!
Gentle Exercise- Tuesdays and Thursdays - Maria Furstoss, certified personal trainer & fitness instructor is here with a gentle exercise program designed just for Gilda’s members.

Lymphedema -Tuesday, November 4th - Theresa Hunter, PT from Freedom Therapy, Functional Rehabilitation Services will be here to speak on dealing with Lymphedema and answers your questions.

WORKSHOPS

Art for Stress Relief - Tuesdays, November 4th, 11th & 18th - Join Joyce Kliman, art therapy professor from Nazareth College for a relaxing evening using different art modalities for stress relief.

Annual Pie Baking Class - Thursday, November 20th  - Our 9th Annual Pie Baking extravaganza.  We’ll have all the fixings for making two homemade pies you can take home for your Thanksgiving celebration.
